WE’RE CALLING OUR LEADERS TO ATONEMENT

The Catholic Accountability Project (CAP) is hosting a vigil outside St. James Cathedral after the 12:10pm service on Ash Wednesday (2/14), a time for reflection on the profound impact of clergy sexual abuse within the Catholic Church. This gathering aims to provide a space for survivors, advocates, and concerned Catholics like ourselves to come together, reflect on the consequences of abuse, and stand in solidarity for change.

We will use this occasion to call Church leaders to atone for their wrongdoing, particularly their ongoing enabling and covering-up of abuse. By drawing attention to the need for accountability, we hope to foster a safer environment for all members of the community - especially children.

We invite those who support our efforts to join us.
